Father's Day Weekend!

This weekend was great!  Greg was with us for the whole weekend, which is a rare event given his crazy firefighter schedule!  Friday night we went to a Durham Bulls game and the weather couldn't have been any better (very little humidity and a nice breeze =a happy mama). This was Will's first baseball game and I wasn't sure that we would be able to stay longer than for about 30 minutes :-) I am happy to report that he did fantastic and he LOVED IT!!  At the bottom of the 6th inning, we were all getting tired and started to pack up our mess plus it was after 9pm.  I told Will we were going home and he started to scream " NO, I want baseball"!!  It was so funny..we stayed for another 10 minutes and then left.  The funny part is that he was actually watching the game!!  I think we may have a ball player on our hands!
Saturday morning we headed to Duke Gardens for a family picnic with Greg's family and afterwards we went to the pool for a little while. I managed to get very few pictures due to chasing a wild toddler but I'll share what I have! Sunday we went to church with my grandparents ( and my dad too) then went to their house for lunch.  It was a really great day! Greg doesn't like for me to brag about him, but hey....you should give credit where credit is due!  Our kids have no clue how lucky they are to have such a wonderful daddy. Anyone can be a father, but it takes a special man to be a "daddy".  Greg reminds me so much of his dad, Marvin, who passed away several years ago. Greg does everything and we truly are a team...he cooks, cleans, does laundry, changes diapers...whatever needs to be done.  He has patience beyond belief and he loves nothing more than to just stay home and hang out with his family. What I love most is that he knows the importance of teaching his kids about God's love and he shows that through his actions and words.  I Love you Greg and I am so thankful to have you as a husband.  Thank you for being an AWESOME daddy to Madi & Will....we are all SO VERY BLESSED. I am equally thankful for my dad...he means SO much to me!  Thank you dad for all you do and for being such a WONDERFUL GRANDPA!! These pictures are in random order...

                                                      HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!
