Ok,so the break was not intentional!! Whew...alot has been going on! Let me start by saying I have ALOT of catching up to do and the majority of that just may come in pictures! We've been making memories for sure! Let me start with the BIG stuff! I have a new job and I'm SO excited. I've taken some time off to re-group and re-fesh myself before this new adventure....I don't start till January 2nd! Having time off over the holidays is priceless! My days have already been filled with sewing, cooking, cleaning, decorating, helping out at school and shopping just to name a few! I have no clue how I ever had time to work! God is SO Good and he has blessed me with this "staycation"....boy do I have ALOT to be thankful for! Greg and the kids are wonderful, we are taking in as many Christmas activities as we possibly can! I LOVE Christmas! This year, we are starting a bit of a new tradition and our kids are getting 4 items from Santa. ( 1 thing they want, 1 thing they need, something to wear and something to read). Santa has kind of gone overboard in the past and I want my kids to know why we celebrate Christmas. They have way too much and we just need to re-focus our attention on what really matters. I want them to know more about that tiny baby in a manger who was born on CHRISTmas day! He is the best present. It's SO easy to want to go out and just BUY..beacuse the stores make it so enticing with all the comercials and sales ads. It's such a racket...I won't get off on that soapbox today! I can't believe I got so behind on blogging! Let me back up to September and say that the kids had a wonderful birthday party this year. We had a combined party for the two of them with a camping theme...fun was had by all! Fall rolled in and of course we went to the NC State Fair and paid a visit to the pumpkin patch ( Will's first field trip!). Halloween was awesome...Greg had too much fun scaring the "big" kids! Thanksgiving was great, I didn't take a single picture that day...don't know where my brain was?? Mallory hosted this year and we all at way too much good food! Katie came back with us and she's here till Sunday! Max, our elf on the shelf, came back decemeber 1st and he's been up to quite a bit of mischief! I'm not sure who's having more fun...me or the kids! The best part...picture overload! Till next time...keeping it real-Kyla
